DentalPlus, BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona's Dental Plus dental health insurance plan (you don't have to be a BCBSAZ member in order to be covered) has increased its coverage for dependent children.
Previously, dependent children were only eligible for coverage until age 19 or age 25 if the child was a full-time student. Now, as of May 1, 2007, unmarried dependent children are eligible under their parent's BCBSAZ DentalPlus contract until age 30, even if they are not a student.
The fee schedule has also changed. Effective May 1, 2007, annual fees for one is adult is $273; for one adult plus a dependent is $535; and for a family (three people or more), $757.
